Our 2025 Community Impact Summary
In 2025, we proudly supported local charities with over $8,500 in donations and sponsorships, 340 pounds of food collected, and 10 pet adoptions. We brought the collected
food to Interfaith Food Pantry Network. We also hosted organizations such as Mt. Pleasant Animal Shelter and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Coastal and Northern NJ
in our branch to help raise awareness and support their growth within our community. In addition, our dedicated staff attended numerous community events and
provided volunteer leadership on various committees, contributing 239 hours of their time and energy to ensure each event’s success.

Community…Where We Connect
People helping people is the greater mission of Credit Unions around the world. Ridgedale FCU works to support our local communities and the residents who live there. We know that true commitment to our community goes far beyond the products and services we’re able to offer as your local credit union. Our commitment to our local community focuses on partnering with local organizations to make a difference through charitable giving and program support.
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Coastal and Northern New Jersey
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Coastal and Northern New Jersey has been transforming the lives of children since 1970. A member agency of the oldest and largest youth mentoring organization in the United States, consisting of more than 350 agencies nationwide, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Coastal and Northern New Jersey has a mission to create and professionally support one-to-one mentoring relationships that ignite the power and potential of youth in our area.
Interfaith Food Pantry Network
For over 25 years, the Interfaith Food Pantry Network has improved the health and well-being of Morris County residents in need by providing access to food, education and other resources.
Mt. Pleasant Animal Shelter
For more than 53 years, Mt. Pleasant Animal Shelter has been a pillar of care and compassion for homeless animals. We are driven by a singular purpose: to provide every cat and dog we serve with the chance to find a permanent, loving home. Each animal that comes through our doors receives the highest standard of care, from essential medical services to socialization and enrichment, ensuring they are prepared for a brighter future.

East Hanover Community Partnership Winter Festival
Once again, the East Hanover Community Partnership's Winter Festival was a big success. Hundreds of families partipated in the activities while sipping hot coco and listening to holiday tunes. There was train rides, ice skating and of course a prize wheel at the Ridgedale tent. We hope you enjoyed the day!

Photos With Santa!
Our 5th Annual visit from Santa. Kids and pups of all ages were happy to meet Santa and share their gifts wish list with him. Santa was especially happy to greet each person with a Ho, Ho, Ho and his warm smile. Everyone enjoyed treats, gifts, holiday cheer and a professional photo.

Pet Palooza 2025!
Supporting Mt Pleasant Animal Shelter at Pet Palooza. A fun filled day with a variety of pets out enjoying treats and the humans enjoying the food trucks, music, and the doggie fashion show. The funds raised will go to caring for the animals at the shelter while they await adoption.

Whippany Park High School Football
Go Team!! The Whippany Park High School Wildcats got a "boost" for the fall 2025 season.

Back to School Food Collection
We successfully collected 163 Lbs. of non-perishable food items during the month of August. The goal was to help stock the shelves at the Interfaith Food Pantry Network for the back to school rush to ensure the community had what they needed for a healthly start to the school year. Thanks to all of our staff and members that donated to items!

Day of Giving: Supporting 1:1 Mentoring
RFCU was proud to participate in our 2nd annual Day of Giving that supports Big Brothers Big Sisters of Coastal and Northern NJ (BBBSCNNJ). The important programs, including 1:1 mentors to the youth on our communities, that BBBSCNNJ provides are proven to support at risk youth. Thanks to our members and team for assisting to make this donation of $1500.00.
